Student Mentoring Day – SOLD OUT

Students and university professors are invited to join this program specially designed to give students an experience of High Point Market. The day begins with a panel from the industry entitled “Career Horizons: Exploring the Home Furnishings Landscape” which will talk about the multitude of career paths available, followed by round tables on topics and tours of showrooms. Students will be hosted to lunch in a showroom.

The cost for students is $10

8:35 – 8:45 am              Welcome and Instructions for the day

8:45 – 9:30 am              “Career Horizons: Exploring the Home Furnishings Landscape”
Students will hear from a variety of young industry professionals about their career path, opportunities in home furnishings and what they have learned along the way.

9:30 – 10:30 am            Round Tables – 25 minutes per RT – 2 opportunities

10:30 am -12:00 pm      Showroom Tours

12:00 pm                      Lunch in various furniture showrooms.

Student Mentoring Day concludes following lunch.
