Employee Spotlight
Becky Greene
Becky Greene has been working with Furnitureland South for 10 years, but in reality she was born into the furniture industry. Her father was an executive in the industry, so she spent her childhood discussing furniture at the dinner table with her family. After her children were in a spot where she could focus on her career, she jumped into home and furnishings and later reconnected with an old friend, Jeff Harris, the CEO of Furnitureland South. The rest, as they say, is history.
For Becky, everything comes back to building relationships. It’s the best part of her job, it’s why she mentors extensively, and it’s what she gets out of her WithIt membership. We talked with Becky about her role as Executive Director of Merchandising at Furnitureland South, her passion for the industry and lessons she’s learned.
