WithIt Committee Opportunities

We are often asked “How do I get involved in WithIt?” Volunteering for a committee is the best way.

Committees are the lifeblood of WithIt. Our programs and events are incredible experiences because our members bring their creativity and energy to everything they do. Committees are also a key to professional development, offering members the opportunity to get to know other members across the organization in a deeper way. Additional benefits include building new skills or showcasing your special expertise, along with offering experiences to plan, organize and work to a budget.

We value the time of volunteers. Our committees have many differing levels of time and commitment to fit into your life. Meetings are kept to 1 hour or less and often happen during lunch for maximum availability.

Whether you only can commit to an hour during Student Mentoring Day,  want to help plan the next major event, or even want to serve on the Board of Directors, WithIt wants you!

Our mentoring program continually needs mentors from all leadership and skill levels.

Mentors commit to meet with their paired mentee 1-2 times per month for a 6 month period. All scheduling is decided by the mentor and mentee according to their timing and availability.

Co-horts will be paired twice per year – Spring and Fall. Special situations where a member may need more immediate help will be handled at the time. Our program makes careful mentor matches looking at the skills needed, industry, and time required.
