Welcome to the WithIt Book Club

Hi! I’m Molly McNair, the Operations Coordinator at WithIt since 2024. Here at the High Point office, I assist our Executive Director with marketing, event planning, admin, and more. Before I joined this organization, I worked in education, and taught English in Hong Kong for two years.

I’m a longtime reader, writer, and book-opinion-haver, and so I couldn’t be more excited to be putting together this book club designed specifically for professional women. Every two months, we’ll be selecting and reading a new book about career development, the home industries, women’s history, and more. See the list below for a selection of future book club reads!

Current Read: “As Is: An Insider’s Guide to Real Estate” by Joan Herlong

Book Club Guidelines

  1. It’s fine to show up to the meeting if you haven’t had time to read some/all of the book! You can still listen to the discussion and catch up later.
  2. Any format of book is ok: paperback, ebook, audiobook.
  3. Be respectful and give everyone a chance to talk!
  4. Email me if you have an idea for a book to add to our list. Bringing it up in our discussion is great too, but if we’re having a fast-paced talk, I might miss it!
  5. This is an AI-free space. I know that’s a little controversial, but considering how saturated with AI our lives and workplaces have become, I want this book club to be a short break from all that. I will not be using Chat-GPT to sum up any of our reading material or come up with discussion questions, and I respectfully ask that you do the same.
  6. I know everyone is busy, so we will try our best to keep our meetings within the 45-minute limit.
